My brain fries trying to work out how anyone under 30 without inherited wealth is going to survive independently let alone prosper. It totally explodes thinking of 30 years from now. Students compounding debt repayments, casual/contract work and indentured labour for the un or under-employed are hardly going to increase the tax base enough to pay for the tsunami of baby boomers swelling ready to overwhelm the aged care sector. I want to see some modeling and projections on the results of this Govts discrimination towards young people and what kind of society we are creating for the future. Maybe then we will be better informed and less likely to accept structural inequality as a valid policy remedy. Remember when a fair go was part of our lexicon- seems almost quaint doesnt it?
