My brother passed away 2 years ago. He was young and it was too sudden. His death was heartbreaking to our family. Today, I feel his spirit so often. I know it is him because no other person has ever made me feel so special, so important or loved just for existing. He was the kind of person that would do anything for anyone. He taught me to drive by throwing me the keys to his cool truck and turning the radio up. He was fearless and kind, beautiful and captivating. At his funeral there were so many people, folks gathered in the doorways peeking their heads in to catch parts of the service. Each person had stories about how Denon made them better. He was committed to the community and adored his children. I could not be more proud to be his sister. In his honor, I am committed to living my life fully and deeply in service of others. Today and always I carry him every place I go. I love and miss you, Big brother.
