My brothers full obituary---- Paul Thomas Gorham January 9, 1969 June 2014 Portland – Paul Thomas Gorham, 45, of Portland passed away unexpectedly in Albany, New York while working there. He was born in Portland on January 9, 1969 to John Gorham, Sr. and the late Cherrianne (Eaton) Gorham. He was a graduate of Portland High School, class of 1987. Paul was a union pipefitter and steamfitter, master plumber, certified welder, boiler, oil and burner technician. He served his apprenticeship as a pipefitter under John Hyland. He was affiliated with the Plumber and Pipefitter Union Local 217, Local Union 716 and Longshoreman Local 861. He earned licenses with the States of Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Paul is a loving, caring, thoughtful, kind and generous person. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, the beach and the sun. Paul was very proud of his son, Paul, Jr. They enjoyed sharing their interests and spending time on John Sr’s boat. Paul is survived by his father John Gorham, Sr., his wife Cynthia Gorham Florendo, his son Paul Thomas Gorham, Jr., brother John Gorham, Jr., sister Carol “Sissy” Savasuk and her husband Darrell, nieces Rachel Ingalls and Kaitlyn Savasuk, nephew Michael Ingalls and great niece and nephew Eliana and Eli Ingalls as well as several aunts and uncles. Friends and family are invited to visiting hours on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 3 – 7 pm at A.T. Hutchins Funeral & Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave. Portland. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17, at 10:30 am at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress St. Portland.
