My cat Marvin lives outside and gets banged up on occasion. While he was inside for some lap time the other day, I noticed he had a scraped up nose, and he wouldnt let me touch it. I wasnt worried. Its fine now. Yesterday, this sweet little girl from my neighborhood knocked on my door and asked if I had a black and white cat. I said yes. She wanted to let me know that she saw him limping and crying on Halloween, and wanted to make sure he was ok. Well, Marvin was inside asleep, so I brought him to the door, and she said Yes, thats him She was so glad to see that he was fine. She dropped to her knees and hugged him so hard. She said that she had been so worried about him. I explained to her that Marvin was just fine, and that he cries when he wants to be petted and that is probably what she heard. She skipped off, happy to see Marv was ok, and promised to pet him every time she walks by the house. So sweet!!
