My colleague Charlie Angus and I hosted a special round table meeting on palliative and end-of-life care this morning. We had a great discussion about the needs in the community from the perspective of both interested citizens and front line care providers. Charlies motion calls on the government to resolve the huge disparities in care options across the country with a national strategy that would recognize the family, spiritual and cultural needs of individuals at the end of life.
