My comment is titled: Phased or successive phases of Holiness, do not exist in the Mind of Christ. Any teaching saying that the Holiness or Righteousness of God granted by the blood of Jesus is a two-phased or three-phased Holiness, or a progressive sanctification is wrong. This is not what the Word of God says: And by that will (Gods will), we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. (my emphasis: ONCE FOR ALL) What is the importance in the words ONCE FOR ALL? Once for all is contrary to the words phased or progressive transformation from its former nature I want to compare the Holiness/Righteousness of God, which is imparted to the believers, to fire. A spiritual fire, the fire of God. The Bible says that If you are aware of being Holy, Sinless and Perfect by the blood of Jesus, night and day, then you have the Mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 says: “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind (Spirit) of Christ. Your mind (fire) is the same as the one of Christ. A fire does not transform itself, it never gradually becomes a fire from something else. A fire is not a caterpillar which will transform itself into a nice butterfly. Any fire has always been a fire, from the single spark to the huge bonfire. The only thing that may changes, is the intensity. Then fire always grow into intensity but never transforms itself. Phased Holiness never existed in the Mind of Christ... and if you hear any teaching that says that your Holiness granted by the blood of Jesus is phased or progressive, its a lie from the carnal viewpoint. Now read these verses Matthew 5.48. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. (i.e: this mean being GODs Mind in your flesh) and John 10: 29-31 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Fathers hand. I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. and John 17: 21-23 : That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have. The only way God gives awareness of Himself is through His Spirit. I repeat again, no one can reach God in His own realm, this includes all angels and even Jesus, and no one can be aware of the presence of God, unless God grants him to be aware of His Spirit. Thus, the only Holiness or Perfection that could match the Holiness and Perfection of God is Gods own Holiness given to someone, this is called FAITH, and that happens when Gods touches this someone with His Holy Spirit. Faith is closer to the verb understand than believe. God is Holy, and there is no Holiness beside His Holiness. The only way to be Holy, is standing before the Holiness of God (or being spiritually aware of His Holiness, and this is possible only the genuine FAITH given from God to His children). The angels of God are Holy because they worship the Holiness and the Glory of God. So, God cant be seen in His own realm, but if God grants the awareness of Himself, it is only possible through His Spirit. Now lets match some more scriptures: .. so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you Holy. Exodus 31: 13 and Leviticus 20:26 ... You shall be holy to me, for I the LORD am Holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine I will never stop saying that the Faith we testify in the New Covenant of God, through the blood of the Lamb, makes us Perfect, Holy and sinless, and that is ONCE FOR ALL. Remember: you cannot be holy by yourself in order to please God. Your own holiness does not exist. Your own works cannot save you, cannot get you holy, because God accepts only His Own Holiness, nothing less. The Perfection and Holiness which is given to the believer is not human. This Holiness and Perfection is the one of God Himself. God will never accept any other Holiness and Perfection than His own. Only God is Holy. There is no other Holiness beside His Holiness. You see ? God says I am the only ONE who is Holy and Perfect, I am the One who makes Light or Darkness ... And there is no God apart from me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but me. Isaiah 45:21 and .. Be holy because I, the LORD your God, am holy. Leviticus 19; 2 So, how do we get Holy and Perfect ? You know the answer. When you reflect Gods own Holiness and Perfection, through the blood of the Lamb, what else do you need ? Who can be made more Perfect and Holy than those who are made Holy and Perfect ONCE FOR ALL ? Thus now, Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters. Hebrews 2:11 Who can accuse you ? How long will you keep using your old knowledge of the good and evil to decide whats good or wrong to please God ? Dont you know that when you stand Holy, Perfect and Sinless before Gods Spirit, God engraves His own laws in your heart ? And, you rely ONLY to Gods laws ? Now may the God of peace make you Holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Romans 8.29-30 (King James) For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, (i.e: PERFECT AND SINLESS) that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. How many among you, dare to say amen ? Be blessed
