My computer posts may be nearing an end for a while......I have been doing some kind of a daily post now for about five years.....Im sure this is a shock to some of my Teacher co workers from years past...My dear friend Marcella Morten tried to teach me how to use a computer 20 yrs. ago and I told her No, I will Never be using one, so no need to learn...In my last years of teaching they required all grades be posted on the computer each quarter..So i hired my good friend Joanie Riead to put them on there for me as i was never going to use one of the things....I retired from Teaching early partly because i didnt want to use one in my teaching....Well in 2000 , I gave in and had QDP in Tahlequah make me one so i could do E-Mail and do History searches easier....Well to make my short story even longer they set it up with a Windows XP...I have been using this same old thing all these years....On Tuesday Ap. 8th, microsoft is dropping all updates and help on my XP and i dont know how long I will be able to continue using it until it goes dead... Could be forever or two days, we shall see....I plan on getting a new laptop, notebook or some such thing when I thresh my cats, but dont know when that will be...So if you dont see my posts after Tuesday my Friends, its not because I dont Love you...Blame it on progress and and a small pocketbook...:-)
