My comrade, my confidant, my keeper of secrets, my mentor. So loving, generous, forgiving you have impacted my life like no other father. I will always treasure the times when you wrapped your arms so tightly around me and whispered in my ear, “ It’s GOOD to be your daddy” and I returned the squeeze and whispered back to you “It’s GOOD to be your daughter”. I will never forget a few months ago when you squeezed my hand and cried… you asked me if I was still your baby girl… always Dad, forever and always. My heart is shattered that you are gone… I already miss you beyond belief, but I know you’re no longer suffering. Just wanted to tell you one more time after telling you since I was little….
