My dad, Harold Johns took a fall early the morning of Oct. 31. He broke a vertabre in his neck, in three places. He is on the slow road to recovery but must be hospitalized/in rehab for awhile. His new place of residence is the Maine Veteranns Home in Scarbough Maine. It would really be great if folks would send him get well cards. He is now 91 yrs young and needs all the moral support that he can get to fight and get stonger. He will be wearing a neck brace/support collar for 3 months and will need alot of PT to get stonger. Meanwhile my Mom, Mary Johns collapsed last Wed. evening and is in hospital with blood clots in both lungs and her right leg. She will be in hospital till she can be stabilized then will have to go to a skilled care facility to work on getting her stonger and more able to do for herself. Sadly Mom has Alzheimers but if you would like to send her a card, she might enjoy cards with animals or little kids, just message me and I will get you an address that you can send them too.
