My dad has always joked that hes my father figure. Well, wouldnt you know, that in the course of doing my SAR application, we find out his dads name wasnt Wilberger; indeed it was spelled Welberger. Vital Stats indicated that this is how the mid-wife gave it at the time. So now he jokes he too had a father figure! I swear, just when I thought I had down all the permutations of my last name...I no longer cease to be amazed at just how many ways people can misspell my surname.
