My dad is set for open heart surgery tomorrow afternoon, now that all meds have been flushed out. The doc will also try to fix his Afib in his heart. The doctor has given him a 90-95% chance of a good outcome. It will be a longer surgery and more difficult than his first one 29 years ago but he is blessed with one of the best doctors. After surgery he will be in ICU for two days and then another 5-7 here at Emory.
