My dad opened his eyes today briefly and Im pretty sure he recognized me. I spoke to his doctor and they did a cat scan of his lungs and heart today, it showed NO SIGNS of congestive heart failure, stroke, or heart attack which is great news. But he does have pneumonia but not sure if its bacterial or viral and also pulmonary edema. Within the next 24-48 hours they are going to start weaning him off the sedation meds and vent.. Power of prayers goes a long way. I so want to thank all if you guys for the love and encouraging words. We are not out the woods yet but at least we have some encouraging news today. Love you guys
