My darlin woke me up a little after 3 a.m. this mornin, to give me a hug and kiss, and say Happy Anniversary to me. He started tellin me how happy I had made him, and that he loved me more than he ever had.....I am so blessed!! I told him that Id do it all again, a million times over........and that he was the ONLY one for me........We fell back asleep, and Im sure that we both had smiles on our faces!!! I got up around 5:30, and thats an hour later than usual......hes still sleepin.......and Im about to start cookin breakfast. Although it is our 40th anniversary today, we arent really gonna do anything special, as the world would see it......We took our annual trip to the mts. last week, because I was off work on Friday....... But we will be spending it together quietly......Weve had a really busy last few weekends, so weve decided to just stay home, and Ill cook us some breakfast........and do some OVERDUE cleanin......Its what makes me happiest anyway!!! Takin care of my man......... Hell probably mess around in the yard.........and rest some, in between his little odd jobs.........and Ill fix him some supper.......Well talk, and well laugh, and well walk down memory lane together, hand in hand!! Smilin and rememberin the good times, and thank GOD for helpin us make it through the NOT so good times, that we survived!! We might go check out the new Roses store, and stop into Big LOTS.....got something we want to check on there!! Maybe stop in by the grocery store to get a few items, late this afternoon...... But when you live with the love of your life EVERY day, then EVERY day is special anyway.......An anniversary is just a milestone marker........and after all, we DO plan on spendin ETERNITY together!!! What a glorious thought!! Yall be blessed, I certainly have been!!
