My daughter Emma, wrote this song in the 5th grade. In response - TopicsExpress

My daughter Emma, wrote this song in the 5th grade. In response to what was happening when she entered middle school, I suggested that sometimes a negative experience in our lives can help us have empathy and be supportive to others when they go through something similar. I asked Emma to write her experience down, write a song, but with the idea that she was going to lift someone else up who needed her understanding. I know its going to spark conversation about the concept of mean girls, the words are worth debate; we hope, and it is our intention that the video embraces the debate, suggesting that when we come face-to-face with anyone, we are disarmed and that expression is dialogue. In the spirit and humor of our hero, Randy Newman, we hope you like the song. Single Available Here (For Now On RuthGerson) ruthgerson/store/catalogue/details/1/3/product_id:241/
