My daughter Fierce Vinyl is making these custom now with minimum set up fee for the custom art. As you can see I like mine on the inside. When you look at the heat coming off the barrel with a thermal camera with the mirage shield turned down as most do the heat exits the sides and follows the curve up directly in the center of the scope. With the sides of the shield turned up as seen in the pick (The way I like it!) you get the same effect only the heat converges above the scope....better sight picture and less influence to your true aiming point by the heat coming off your barrel! Any ways you look cool either way with your own custom mirage shield and nobody can steal it from you either! Not that, that has ever happened to me!
