My daughter built a new house and they had western red cedar in the den. It must have been a breeding ground for the brown recluses because they found a lot of them. She used the juice and crushed up leaves of the plantain plant to draw out the poison and to keep the skin from rotting. Plantain is a weed that grows everywhere. Just crush the leaves and put the juice on the bite and cover the leaves with a band aid. It really works.
