My daughter had meningitis when she was 1 year old. I was terrified, I didnt know if she was gona live or die. Well I just watched a show on t.v. where a little boy 12 yrs old had the exact same kind she did, the worst of all. Now I realize I had a great team of doctors at Lynchburg General that diagnosed the illness and flew her to Roanoke in time to save her from further damage. Seeing that lil boy lay there for days in a coma, I realized my Hyatt is a walking miracle. She came out of that hospital with no brain damage, her limbs, and of course her life. Prayers are full filled everyday. Dont take life for granted, some illnesses are hard to diagnos, if you feel like something is wrong my advice to you is encourage you doctor to test until he/she knows whats wrong with you or your loved one.
