My daughter-in-law teaches first grade and she said that the new crowd, (its been trickling in over the years) that is coming (24 kids) are pretty much all below par and do not turn in homework and their parent are not involved with their schoolwork, except when it pertains to petty shit - like what color their kid got for behavior on any given day. They must think it reflects on them - and theyre right!! Yellow BAD! My kid should have green every day. Theyll probably start suing for that soon. Yes, guess where she teaches. By the way - in todays world - NO ONE GETS HELD BACK. Seriously not one student get held back because it probably hurt their feelings or damages their self esteem. This starts in first grade and goes on all way though K-12. So, can you see the types of 18 year olds this is producing - GOD help us!!! People who are all gong to want 15 an hour or more.
