My daughter is trying so hard to get into vet school and has been accepted to St Kitts school of vet medicine. However she is now finding out that she can only get funding for 1/3 of the estimated costs. With no sponsors she may not be able to go to school at this point. Is it only rich children that go to school or am I missing something here. She worked so hard to get a Biology degree and graduated from USF with a 3.4 average. She had a 3.8 average but the organics classes were tough and took her average down while others failed out. With all of her debt at this point she will be forced to work at a vet office making barely enough to have an apt let alone feed herself. What is the matter with the system when a hard working young girl that did everything right cant get the funding to finish out her dream... Not sure what to tell her at this point.
