My day brightened considerably this morning, driving past what WAS the delightful much loved WATERBERRY in Ballito!!!!!.......... for those who have visited the Waterberry in the past know how devastating it was, to not only the owners but the Ballito community, when a fire broke out and the whole establishment was burnt to the ground.....Took many months for it to sink in that The Waterberry,good food and service to boot, with its unique surrounds of the Forest with footpaths, the little buck living in peace, birds happilly nesting in trees, and much needed tranquillity for us stressed out humans ,slap bang in the middle of bustling Ballito was no more!.................... Something has been seriously missing in Ballito since then!!!!!!!!!! O Happy Day!......... the structures are in place, building activity assures us WATERBERRY IS BEING REBUILT!!!!!! :-)
