My day has been one of absolute movie watching... I started the day with Before the Devil knows your dead in horror of Philip Seymour Hoffman. Truly one of my favorite plot twister movies. If you havent seen it and your a fan of Ethan Hawke and Marisa Tomei being without clothes, check this movie out. From there I felt like I wanted to watch PSH as a bad guy. So I put on Hunger Games: Catching fire - which makes me wonder what will they do for his character in the third installment. and watches ONLY the opening seen for MI:III... he is fantastically creepy. After Hunger Games, which was ok in my book, I wanted a short brake for PHS movies, so I turned on Parker, a movie that has been in my Queue for over a year. If your a fan of the Mel Gibson classic Payback, your like Parker... its a revenge flim about principle. It stars Jason Statham, Michael Chiklis (loved that guy on The Shield) and Nick Nolte (is it just me or does his voice seem perfect for a present day Marlboro Man) Soon after I got back on the Philip train and watched Money ball which is a fantastic movie about romance & baseball and one of the greatest teams ever put together, the 2002 Oakland As. Brad Pitt was great... which had a heavy influence on my next movie to watch, Inglorious Bastards. PHS had a small part in the movie, but boy he really does look like Art Howe (the manager of the Oakland As). I highly recomend this movie if any part of your soul likes Baseball. Inglorious Bastards is great, most of us now that... The Ides of March was my next choice of movie. I like George Clooney films and Philip Seymour Hoffman has a pretty large part in the movie. I enjoyed it, seems very Micheal Clayton like, which is one of my 10 favorite films of the 2000s. I will most likely finish my relaxing, PJ wearing night watching Almost Famous and Pirate Radio... havent seen these two in years and both movies have strong Philip Seymour Hoffman roles. NOTE: Im not watching The Big Lebowski because I watched it earlier this week... To Philip Seymour Hoffman, one terrific actor!
