My day started with a beer and wings with Nicole McLaughlin, while Deborah Wilkins and Mercedes Wilkins were setting up covert operations. Nic and I were instructed to be home at 4... There was a super sweet poetic note on the door and a treat.. On the back of the note was a picture clue, the destination of my next clue.. We hunted 3 more clues and at the last destination was a blindfold. I was instructed to put it on and all would be silent. I was guided back in the car and driven blindly about a quarter of a mile. Someone opened my door and guided me into a building. The carpet felt like the skating rink, the sounds resonated much like a warehouse. Sounds of footsteps pounded toward me, I made two fists and swore no one better touch me.. We entered a room..by the motion I knew it was an elevator. Ding, we exit and walk a short distance.. I hear a door open.. Fingers remove my blindfold.. I open my eyes to a picture of a pool.. I look around and its our fav hotel room with a jacuzzi and balcony overlooking the indoor pool! I turn around and SURPRISE, Jill Palmer Shane Palmer Rye N. Bell, Mercedes and Nicci jump out! We have snacks, subs and a camo cake Deb made herself.. We swam in the pool, lounged and talked in the jacuzzi, then played two board games as we laughed the night away. It was amazing. NEVER have I felt so special on a birthday. Thank you baby, and thanks guys for coming and making this day one of THE best ever! I love you and I appreciate you!
