My dear friends, I was absent from facebook almost a month. Hectic election campaign and poor access to internet at interior Kandhamal are reasons that were beyond my control. Just after election, I had to visit cyclone affected areas of Koraput district for two days. I also took some more days to get rid from after election hangover along with some personal work, before coming back to you all in facebook today. Regarding Kandhamal results, equally shocked with defeat but doubly hopeful for rise of BJP as compared to previous elections. Organizational strength has to be improved at lower level, which was noticed in Kandhamal election. 11% increase in vote share in 11 days of intensive campaigning is a significant achievement by party. BJP had a “Deposit forfeited status” in May 2014. Within 11 days of effective campaigning against all odds of organizational problem, we could reach 2nd position because of the blessings of Kandhamal people. Many new faces joined us with heart and soul and added 70,000 more votes to BJP pool. I extend my heartfelt thanks to all of them and hope to work for them in near future. Man learns in association with others. During election campaign I moved to many parts of the constituency and talked to cross sections of society. People want growth of BJP in Odisha. The results also indicate a similar perception. Narendra Modi had made a niche in the mind of people and people strongly believes that only BJP under the dynamic leadership of Modi ji can deliver them development oriented governance free from corruption and equitable growth in all the sectors free from discrimination due to gender, caste or creed.
