My dear, kind friend Eydie You will never see this letter, - TopicsExpress

My dear, kind friend Eydie You will never see this letter, still, I have to write what is in my heart and hope that somehow, some way, you will know that your exit from this earthly world was acknowledged and mourned by so very many who knew and loved you. Even as I write this I cannot believe it is true that I’m facing a year without your friendship. That your presence, so vibrant and alive is no longer with us. I keep hoping that this is all a horrible nightmare from which we will all awaken. And yet, I know that it is not a dream. It is a sad and stark reality… There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of you. What gets me through the tough ones are all the wisdom and your funny sayings and jokes you would share. I wish I could turn back the clock and call you and ask you for advice. You always made me feel like I was one of the most important people in your life. You called me friend and Kiddo and I melted. From day one when we first talked I knew we were kindred spirits and I had that great feeling you get when you meet someone and they feel like flesh and blood. Eydie I wish that I had told you how you changed my life. Knowing you made me a better person... a braver person... You probably never knew, but you challenged me to be the best. Sweet Eydie thank you for the influence you had not only in my life but also in so many others. Thank you for your care and compassion. Thank you for giving so much of yourself every hour of every day of every year. If only you had known the outpouring of love that would come your way. I miss you so much my friend... I know heaven is even more of a joyful place with you there I can just see you singing with Sinatra, Lena, Sarah and Sammy You will not be forgotten Sassymama! Your light will continue to burn in the lives of all those you touched and always in mine. You are loved. Love is never gone… KIddo
