My dearest James, Weve had a rough year. Rougher than I realized at the time even. I havent been myself a lot of the time, particularly this past winter. Most of this winter I felt like a fraction of myself, like a broken person. Except when I was in your arms. You where my constant in that dark season, my fire and my home. I couldnt possibly imagine getting through any of it without you. I know we both went through a lot and yet you always did your best to take care of me and look out for me, even when I wasnt my best. You bring me so much love and joy and best of all, you bring me a family and companionship, a co-conspirator to giggle with and a shoulder to cry on. You mean so much to me my love. I cant believe its been five years already! Thank you for all that you are, all that you have done, and all that you will do (and put up with, although obviously not coming from me as Im perfect). I promise to always love you, take care of you, and be your Italian oven to keep you warm, my snoring snuggle bunny. Now for my favorite part of the day; spending the night with you in my arms! Lets just dial the snoring down a wee bit or somebody is going to get tickled.....
