My dearest friend Viv just dropped by with a bounty of acorn and butternut squash! I use and enjoy all the squash in so many ways, plus I keep and roast the seeds, then grind them and add to a variety of things from salad to biscuit mix. Viv has been so wonderful to me, sharing tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers and now the varieties of squash! Went to the VA in Madison Wednesday for my annual eye exam and a echo cardiogram... my eyes have not changed in 3 years now and the echo showed my ticker doing perfectly! Soooo, it has been a great week! full of all sorts of bounty. Participating in an art show with 5 of my pieces Saturday... along with 25 other artists. Doing some massive downsizing over the next month or so, getting rid of all those things that are just hanging around like the excess VCRs, TVs, Computers, dishes, and raelly wish I could have a garage sale where I live but not allowed.
