My dearest friend and leader comrade Irfan Ali is getting hale and hearty again. After a months forced rest enforced by his family and comrades, he is recovering from his accident during Mama Qadeers march. He has plunged into the struggle once again. Yesterday he was in Kasur reading revolution poetry, today he is addressing a mass rally of the All Pakistan Trade Union Federation in preparation for May Day. He has gained back his weight. His thigh muscle gives him a lot of pain but is also slowly recovering. But casting caution to the winds he has broken the shackles we placed on him and has dived headlong into the struggle once again. The man is truly an inspiration to the progressive movement.
