My dearest friends, I’m really grateful and I thank God that I’m one step closer to justice, mercy and freedom. Because not only did we prove in court that I’m innocent of the accusations of being a drug drealer, we also got the sentence reduced with more than half. This means 15 years difference of my life considering that I almost got the death penalty. I hope this is a sign for you all, especially the Swedish government and the foreign minister Carl Bildt to understand why I need help and support with immediate, decisive action. With the new sentence I don’t need to spend a whole lifetime in jail anymore, but just a decade, for something I didn’t do, meaning that there is still a lot of work that needs to be done before I can hug my baby sister and put a smile on my familys and your face.
