My disappointment at the Nashville, Tennessee South Sudan - TopicsExpress

My disappointment at the Nashville, Tennessee South Sudan Independent Celebration On Saturday, 08/16/2014. This was the second celebration held for the first one was not properly organized. At first, very few people were present and the entire time was none but politicking. Some words are in Dinkas and some destructing songs during talks in Dinkas. A gentlemen from Nuer wanted to talk and was getting refuted but forced himself to the MIC and yet the moderator didnt want to handed him the microphone until we yell that let him speaks as a South Sudanese. At the parking lot, debates are everywhere and one Dinka good friend of mind came and told me loud and clear in the public that we are less South Sudanese than they are citizenship wise. I asked him how, he said they liberated South Sudan. I made it clear to him that WE the South Sudanese liberated South Sudan. We including myself was at the struggle as a southerners and we as a southerners together voted for the separation of South Sudan by 99.98% at the referendum. At my surprise, the venue where the independent celebration party was held is right across where another south Sudanese own club located. Therefore, unbelievably, bunches of Sudanese started to flocks in and line up getting into the club though they have to pay a $5.00 fees plus beverages are for sales and yet the Independent Celebration hall is bigger, has better music equipments, has free food and beverages and free entry. I personally think we as south Sudanese in the diaspora need to creat an open dialog and debate among ourselves to voice our concern wether we shall be capable of existing as one citizen than faking love to one another with an hidden agendas. I believe that those still striving to lead us and trying to bring us the community together are the Jah sent one. They deserve credit and respect. We in diasporas supposedly to show those on the ground the civilize view of hope, integrity, respect, value, loyalty and ability to empathize with the needy. We are a nation and her responsibilities lies on our shoulders. Not one tribe nor clans shall be able to rain over all those beautiful 64 tribes and ten states. We are the blessed among all the African nation with a huge diversities and resources in our disposal but yet dwelling in evil mocking of one another. Shall I offended any of you, my apology. But I think we can do better and we shall do bigger in the international arenas. May Jah Bless you and may Jah Bless the Republic of South Sudan. ~IGWE~ Now, you decide to choose Between EVIL or choose JAH LOVE with PEACE!
