My discouragement stems from a number of sources. Over the course of the week, I received numerous emails and comments indicating that many Americans remain perfectly content with the status quo. Last week, two sitting Maryland Assembly members who supported several of the Tenth Amendment Center’s legislative campaigns lost in primaries. Stack their defeats on top of the failure of other “liberty” candidates across the country to garner any electoral success and it becomes obvious the message of “liberty” does not resonate with voters.
