My district was told today by the new leadership that 6-8 HAVE to use the modules, despite two years of reassurance that teachers would still have choices. I usually play good soldier on things like this, but this development really bothers me. I would wager a healthy sum that going straight to modules unaltered for the rest of the year will see a drop in my scores. And I can only assume that I will be getting a perfect score on my observation next month as I will just be reading from the script. Perhaps certification should require more acting credits as opposed to teaching methods and educational practices. (Mic Drop)
