My drs office called me today. The lady was very nice on the phone and she told me that she has the results for the marker test. She took a long pause before she told me. I was bracing myself for bad news since she paused for so long. Im pretty sure I stopped breathing. Then she told me...your numbers came back good! Praise the good Lord!!! Im not sure if she intentionally paused for so long but my goodness I wish it wouldnt be so dramatic. Maybe I just read to much into it. Maybe it wasnt that long of a pause and it just seemed like it. I also got the reminder call for my PET scan today. I cant eat anything 5 hours before the scan and can only have water during the 5 hours. I guess I am going to eat a big breakfast since my scan is at 3:15. The process takes about 1.5-2 hours so I am going to be one hungry lady. After hearing that my marker came back good I am not very worried about the scan. Im sure when I am laying on the table I will feel different.
