My earlier post about third parties ruffled some feathers. A lot - TopicsExpress

My earlier post about third parties ruffled some feathers. A lot of you asked who I want to see on the ticket in 2016. So here goes... There are two names that I really like above all others. They are both governors. They are both extremely smart and have leadership that has proven time and again successful against all odds. One of them has fought powerful unions in a purple state and won, beating down collective bargaining AND a massive recall effort. He has taken a state that was broke, out of jobs and crawling through the mud and turned it into one that is flourishing economically, running a surplus and creating jobs at every turn. The other is governing her state with a bold and blunt form of governing that we dont see in too many places. Sorry to the Paul/Cruz crowd, but I dont want a Senator in the White House. Plus, I dont think Rand Paul can get through a primary and I dont think Cruz can get through a general. So while there are positives for both of them, Im trying to be realistic in my approach. My choice ticket? Walker/Haley 2016. With Walker at the top. Haley is not only extremely competent standing on her own, but she also takes significant wind out of the Hillary (female) nonsense the left is going to spin. You know... the lets make History again shallow crap theyre going to throw at us. Haley has a solid record to stand on and her state is in decent shape all things considered. Walker has a stellar record in Wisconsin. Of course, the left is going to try and stick that Koch nonsense to him, just as they will anyone else, but the truth is Walker gets in the trenches and gets stuff done. No matter how dirty or ugly the fight gets. God knows we need a fighter who will stand on principles, take the gloves off and tell the left to pound sand. Walker isnt perfect by any means, but no candidate is. Right now we need leadership that isnt viewed as radical right but goes to bat for liberty against the powerful unions and radical left. And we need that leadership to come with a resume that proves he/she can take a sinking ship and make it float again. Walkers biggest challenge right now is the EXTREME onslaught of big-time liberal money trying to take him out in the election this November. If the left succeeds in defeating him with their false (and illegal to make) charges against him and they defeat him, I think his shot at 2016 is crippled. But if he is able to triumph like he did during the recall, I think he immediately starts looking at 2016. I have very trustworthy inside sources that tell me he is definitely considering a run. And Walker is very good with this kind of stuff. Hell quietly build infrastructure while all the media candidates rip each other apart and then hell come out swinging when the dust starts to settle. Ive looked at all the candidates. Ive considered all the ticket scenarios. And when all is said and done, Im all in for Walker/Haley. Show me where to donate.
