My email to Stephen Harper. Please stop selling out the lives of our children with your wanton pursuit of big oil in the western tar sands. Cant you see the picture of green energy? Cant you see that more jobs can be created by developing new technologies for thorium; hydrogen, solar and wind technologies? Canada could be a leader in these fields if you would stop supporting big oil (subsidies) and put more into technology research and development. I know we need oil, now, but it wont last forever and soon the price will be too prohibitive for commerce to continue and well end up in another recession. We cant continue to rape the land (tarsands,fracking) forever. thanks for taking the time to read this - please think about it - look forward to your response. thaddeus
