My entire pack has been crying today . . . all day. NaNook took his last breath at 3:30pm yesterday. Hes gone. Peacefully and with love. Hes home with me buried under the 100 Cherry tree here. Thank you so much Huch, Betty, Missy and my vets for helping me through this day. He was ready to go this morning. I knew it had to happen but I didnt expect him to be ready to go. He couldnt walk again. But he ate a good breakfast, was loved by all the dogs as he lay on the back porch deck. Uno and Xena loved and loved him. I got a lot of pictures. He was ready to go. He allowed us to put him on the sled and bring him to Missys Jeep. No crying. No fear. No pain. He knew it was time. The vet put him under and I held him. Then she gave him his pass to the Rainbow bridge gently. He drifted off quietly, comfortably and peacefully. When we got back, Huch, Betty and Missy helped lay him to rest and place the Earth over his body. It was time.
