My experience in USA was sweet and good. I am touched by divinity - TopicsExpress

My experience in USA was sweet and good. I am touched by divinity in so many names and forms in this land that I will hold it dearly. I am on my way to Bharat for good; and its an unexplained inner drive that pulls me there. As I write this, I recall the poem of Robert Frost. The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep; and miles to go before I sleep ... miles to go before I sleep. There are a few people, who have put me in some form of debt that remains unresolved as I leave this land, in some sense. These people have allowed themselves to be used and I have had nothing to offer at par. Saurabh Dayal motivated me into applying to MSU. If he had not said you apply, I will pay for it, then I would have dared to get into applying to a US university. He allowed himself to be my car driver, financial assistant, event manager, course counselor and many other things that in summary is called a mentor. People whom he introduced have been some of the closest people, even after he left this University town. Thanks bhai. Anusha Liyanage has been an unconditionally available friend. She taught me driving on her car. Took responsibility of my needs when I was too new in Virginia. I feel a pinch that I have not been able to give her anything memorable. There were seniors who helped me, but she was my first friend in Virginia. I needed company to smile and share together; it was her, and people introduced by her who became the first support group who became my community. I wish I could get over the pinch. She is a warrior Buddha. Nuruzzaman Nuruzzaman has been open and allowing throughout. He has not maintained a line of what is personal for anything between what he can use and what I was allowed to use. Openly saying anything that comes to his heart. Its very easy to deal with him. Whatever he says is what he means, you don t need to know the grammar of human behavior to interpret him. I am week at that grammar anyways and am still learning. Whenever he left town, he left his car keys with me, eventually getting me addicted to a car. I will soon be joining IIT Bombay as a post doctoral fellow. I cant gain the moral authority to proceed without thanking Dipangkar Dutta for so much of what I could achieve all the way professionally.
