My experience was extraordinarily painless. The technician, Ben, who came to my house put it to me very plainly: That the cost to repair this old thing was a good portion of what a brand new one would cost, along with all the bells and whistles. He could see that I was in a bind, yet did not take advantage of me. I put great value into this fact. Having no technical knowledge of an expensive component is not something I wanted to broadcast, believe me, however, Ben did not talk down to me or treat me as if I just fell off the turnip truck yesterday, if you know what I mean. He was respectful and gave me the best options that could fit my budget. He gave me the option of a higher efficiency unit, but heck, my house isnt that big....... and neither is my budget!! I decided to go with Lennox because they are reliable, top of the line furnaces and Ben made this decision rather easy for me. I highly recommend NRG Heating and Air Conditioning.
