My eyes are still blurry after a minute of watching this partly because I know that I am doing something to help maintain the smile on those little faces! I really do feel proud of us, AHEPA Youth! THEIR reality is that they DEPEND on the outside worlds understanding and compassion to help them hope for a future. Their reality is that even a small contribution will help them get by another day with clean water, food, clean clothes and a hope to survive the massive outbreak of the ebola virus in Sierra Leone (currently noting 392 in Sierra Leone out of 1,427 in total). OUR reality is that we are privileged, active, open minded, educated, cultivated and far too busy human beings. Too busy to come to our High Tea and contribute to the 15,000$ that need to be urgently raised to send masks and gloves to the ebola-stricken Sierra Leone? It is up to you to decide. Your contribution will mean so much to them!!!! Save the date, as this Fathers Day will be different than all others. We are helping Father Themis, the father of 3,000 disadvantaged children fight the obstacles of corruption, lack of education, violence, criminality and now a deadly virus in order to give them hope!
