My family dog Skipper has been missing for more than 2 months. Just last night we learned the unimaginable truth of what happened. My parents left for vacation in June and entrusted Skipper with Purrfect Petcare. Shortly into their trip they were informed that Skipper had gone missing along with the business owners dog Knox. They returned home immediately and began what turned out to be a nearly 3-month search for Skipper. They spent hundreds of dollars on advertisements posters and flyers. Spent many a sleepless night and fielded dozens of phone calls from people all over the community who thought they spotted Skipper. All their efforts and emotions were for nothing because they had been lied to from the very beginning. Skipper was actually killed by the owner’s pit bull during the night of June 5th. Instead of confessing the owners attempted to cover up the tragedy by not only lying to my parents for over 2 months but also killing there own dog Knox and burying them both in the country. Both Legal and Civil actions are currently being considered but the main thing I want is for this business to be shut down. These people should never be allowed around dogs again.
