My family lost one of our Chiefs today - a true warrior in times of conflict, a leader for family and community, a super hard worker whom selflessly worked crazy hours here and offshore to provide a home to his kids. For me he is the hard corest uncle I have, kicked my bum when I needed it, always there when I needed support and guidance, a mentor in our Maori affairs, was real supportive of my gigs and always held the line of discipline and respect for the entire time Ive known him. I really admire my Uncle Charlie and my thoughts are so completely distracted today about mortality stuff. Love your people, people. Life is short. Do no harm. Make love not war.
