My family originally lived on Northgate Rd. (13, I think) and then moved to 15 Southgate Rd. prior to my birth. I wnet to Ms. Fitzy Fitzmauice. for nursary school and her son played minor league ball for the Pirates. I remember all of my teachers at Hunnewell, Ms. Peterson for Kindergarten; Ms. Barger for first; Ms. Hayden for second; Ms. Messling for third; Ms. Falby for fourth; Ms. Norma Waters for fifth and then Ms. Powers when they bused us to Phillips School in Wellesley Hills for sixth. I remember the walk to Hunnewell with all of my friends, Nancy, Susan, Holly, Richard and Philip and playing in little league baseball games. Our telephone number was 235-5043. I remember the long Halloween nights when we would walk for hours collecting a huge amount of candy. I also remember learning how to square dance which was a right of passage. We attended the Unitarian Church where Dr. Rice was the pastor and then we would go across the street for ice cream at Brighams.
