My fast ends today. It was a tough weekend for me. I was forced to confront all I had taken for granted in my life up until now. I had to confront that I will not live forever so I MUST make every moment count. With us all trying to live up to the Holiday expectation, while so many are struggling financially, with us all trying to deal with the emotional gravity of Sandy Hook, which has been the most horrific reveal of the state of the world, I had to lay it all down and get focused on what is important. What is truly important to me is who and what I love and I need to take more time, give more care to CHERISH it all. What will end with my fast today, is taking things for granted. NOTHING is promised to me and no one owes me any thing. But...I owe myself the power and joy of love...in every WAY it can manifest...while I am here and while those I cherish are here with me as well. Love fiercely today and may that love keep all you beautiful people...safe. J
