My father has passed away. I will miss our long talks on the telephone, talking about current events, science, sociology and the like. He was a very interesting man, even though hed tell you he wasnt. I think if he had learned to use the internet he would have been a fabulous researcher. He was always reading about Abraham Lincoln and the early congress. He found congressional records (which were printed into big fat books) fun to read. He was proud of his model T Ford and his three wheeled tricycle. I will always remember him as busy with some sort of project- mostly antiques, but it could have been anything (like painting a horse trailer!). He was not a traditional artist, but more talented and thoughtful than most. Dad was an artist at heart, always looking at the shape and nature of things... Rest in Peace dad. See you on the other side sometime.
