My favorite Car # 5------ CITROEN ^^ 2 CV ( 1939) Warning : -- The numbers like #1...#5..etc..is just for reference .not like my favoritism Numbers !!...with Rakshit Shastry Citroen ^^ 2CV .....It was car for the FRENCH country side..., that would be capable of Carrying *Two Farmers* & a Bag of Potatoes and crossing a field without breaking the eggs that the farmers are transporting....Lightness being the chief priority , the original materials used for the components .......A Magnesium alloy chassis ,Mica windows & a corrugated metal body ..cloth & steel tubular Seating ..emphasized that this was a PRACTICAL Car than a AESTHETIC Car in the First INSTANCE :-) The C- 2 CV became one of the most appreciated and Lasting designs of 20 th century .... . when * FUNCTIONAL* turned **BEAUTIFUL** !! The post war Automobile market saw (1948)..Slightly modified version of 2CV..for much sophisticated urban audience ( The Magnesium was replaced with steel, Glass instead of Steel & 2 head lights instead of *ONE* :-) )... Citroen 2 CV ..the * Tin Snail*, quickly acquired a large community of admirers beyond its** original target consumers **
