My favorite excerpts from Honestly: My dad could have gotten the best players in the business to perform on those sessions but he loveingly and patiently gave my brother and me a shot. Thats my dad- very family minded and always willing to encourage us in all our interests. he believed in us and I am forever thankful that he gave Robert and me an opportunity to record at such an early age. My mom and dad loved us all unconditionally and equally. It is because of their love and support and lack of pressure that my chosen profession has been music. I wouldnt be writing this book today if it were not for the encouragement and support of my parents over the years. Robert provided a way for me to share my feelings in hopes that just by talking things through I might find answers myself. Maybe it was our bond as brothers and growing up together. I began to establish with Oz and I got the sense that he was a good guy and he and I had the same direction in music and we did. Tim was very much a centerpiece for that band (Stormer) with his youthfulness and vibe, not to mention the fact that he had the chops to back it up. He was and IS a great player who was envied by many-a-band seeking a bassist, including us.
