My favorite war movie is We Were Soldiers. Ive read the book and the movie got about 75% of it right (which is actually pretty high considering other movies based on real events.) During the battle, the forward air controller calls in an airstrike wrong and the bombers dropped their load on the American position. The FAC stared in horror at what he had just done, and the Colonel grabs him by the shoulder and shouts into his ear. Charlie. Charlie! Sometimes when I dwell on the horrors of my sin, God calls out to me in my prayers and I hear those words. Listen to me, you forget about that one and keep doing your job, youre doing well, son.
