My favourite thing about love is that it is forever changing. In the beginning, it can be wild and unpredictable and new. Confusing even. Puppy love, as they say. But as two people grow older together, it becomes a lot more comfortable and familiar. You start to really understand the other person and love them for things that no one else can even see or understand. This past 7 years I’ve been infinitely fortunate (or I guess lucky is also appropriate, considering the Irish celebrations of the day) to have found someone who reciprocates my love for her and is willing to grow and change alongside me. Happy anniversary to the love of my life and a very happy St. Patrick’s Day to the rest of you! May you all find that four leaf clover that you’re searching for.
