My feelings about Michael Vicks move to the Jets. Yes I repeated a joke Steven Wallace made about the safety of snoopy in Met Life Stadium. (I thought it was funny) But let me be clear about my opinion of Michael Vick going to the New York Jets.... His mistakes and his lifestyle landed him a lengthy jail sentence, in which he served. He had problems prior to that incident, but him serving time was obviously a humbly experience, since he has been doing ok since. Although he lost a lot of money while incarcerated and while on NFL suspension immediately following, he filed chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2008, lost endorsements and gave up a portion of his signing bonus. I am a dog lover, I think enough is enough... Let it go. Its good humor, but that all. Some folks comments were a little mean and unwarranted. Now.... as for Vick the player, my concerns are this, he gets an average of two - three concussions a year. I think his talents, are exploited and he obviously has concussion prone issues. By the time Vick is 40, he may have slurred speech and serious brain damage. The NFL needs to protect their players from over zealous coaches and from themselves. RG3 is another tragic case who people carried them on their shoulders one year, and then turned their backs on him the next. (no healing time) Anyway, good luck to Vick and my sister team the Jets (as a Giants Fan) and my message to everyone who hates Vick without every having a conversation with him, let he who is without sin Cast the first stone, unless you are Jesus Christ himself, go sit down somewhere and watch football. Leave the judgment to God.
