My fellow scouts of Boy Scout Troop 18 will remember Chuck Hensel, who passed away last week at age 90. He founded the troop in 1947 and throughout the years made regular appearances at troop meetings, sharing his Scouting skills and great memories about the camping trips they had back in the day. My late grandfather Ray also had the pleasure of working with him at Norton Labs in Lockport during the 1950s, where Chuck was known as “Red”.
