My final day of gratitude. Obviously thats not ever ever, just on - TopicsExpress

My final day of gratitude. Obviously thats not ever ever, just on here. And in public. Today its about friendship. 1. I am very grateful that I have some tremendous friends, old and new, online and IRL. Some I see regularly, some less often, some Ive found again (Melissa!) and it feels like weve never been apart. I consider my online friends to be just as important, real and relevant as my RL friends (theres also an awful lot more of them...) Some online friends I have met are now some of my very best friends. Supportive, funny, wise, kind - online or IRL - you couldnt find a better bunch of people if you painted them yourself. 2. The kindness of friends can take your breath away. Its funny how a kindness you would do for someone else without a thought can bring you to tears when it is done for you. Somehow you never think that you deserve it. I try to do at least one random act of kindness every day. I figure this goes a small way towards cancelling out my appalling driving language. 3. My bestest friend has been with me for 14 years and I love her dearly. We travel together, sleep together and watch tv together. Shes awfully keen on raw vegetables, a certain Cornishman and anyone whos willing to stick their foot on her Kong. Saucy minx. Time with her is so very precious now. And there you have it. Fifteen things Im grateful for. It was both easier and more difficult than I thought it would be because theres lots of things I didnt mention and I did try to keep it on the lighter side because Im British. We dont like to emote too much because we feel silly. Im supposed to nominate 3 people but Im fairly sure everyone else has done it. And those that havent may hate me nominating them. Oh what the hell.... I nominate Elizabeth Mitchell, Sam Pirkhoffer and Jordan Rhys Breckenridge
